Grade 52100, also known as GCr15 (Chinese standard) or SUJ2 (Japanese standard), is the most widely produced bearing steel globally. This high-carbon chromium steel offers exceptional hardness and wear resistance, making it ideal for precision bearing applications.

Heat Treatment
- Annealing: 780-820°C
- Hardening: 840-870°C, oil quench
- Tempering: 150-200°C
- Final hardness: 60-65 HRC

- Manganese (Mn): 0.25-0.45%
- Silicon (Si): 0.15-0.35%
- Phosphorus (P): 0.025% max
